This time last year was one of renewed hope after a dark season of authoritarian overreach. In spite of the frigid temperatures many of us drove (long distances) to Ottawa and felt a renewed pride and connection with our fellow Canadians, from every corner, race, and creed. These past weeks we've seen compelling aviation and travel news, and wanted to provide clarifying thoughts on pilot health, the US border, and Biden's May 11th decision on US "COVID emergencies". While there may not be a city nearby packed with friendly caring, high-fiving new friends, we can act locally to create caring support and I touch on this briefly.
